About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Intern to join our team for a short-term internship. In this role, you will focus on engaging with prospective clients and pitching our services effectively over calls. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your communication and sales skills while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in prospecting new customers to support business growth and create new opportunities.
  2. Evaluate ongoing business growth initiatives and highlight areas for improvement.
  3. Help develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of clients to meet their logistics needs.
  4. Work on expanding into new markets by supporting lead generation and customer acquisition.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing queries, and converting leads into successful orders.
  6. Contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction by promptly addressing issues and resolving concerns.
  7. Support the team in preparing regular reports on logistics operations to update clients and internal departments.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends to help deliver top-quality service.

Requirements:
  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, marketing, sales or a related field.
  2. Strong communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
  3. Own laptop with good internet connection.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote setting.
  5. Basic knowledge of computer systems, including spreadsheets and databases.
  6. A detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  8. A proactive, learning-oriented attitude with a keen interest in business development.
